1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pixelstead website (pixelstead.com) and the website design and development services Pixelstead provides. By using this website, you agree to the provisions of these Terms that relate to website use. Any website project or service engagement begins only when the applicable quotation, scope or written confirmation is accepted. 2. Services and quotations

Pixelstead offers three website packages — Ready-Made Website, Ready-Made All-In and Custom Website — described on this site, along with Annual Renewal options for domain and hosting. The prices shown on this website are starting prices or defined package prices for the described scope. A final written quotation, agreed with you before work begins, governs the confirmed scope, price and terms for your specific project.

3. Ready-Made Website (RM500) limitations

The Ready-Made Website package uses an existing Pixelstead demo design with your logo, business details, and client-supplied copy and images replacing the demo content. It does not include layout changes, additional sections or pages, custom functionality, copywriting, additional languages, domain or web hosting. These are available as part of a Custom Website, or may be separately quoted as new scope.

4. Ready-Made All-In (RM899) scope

The Ready-Made All-In package includes everything in the Ready-Made Website package, plus a one-year standard, available .COM domain, one year of managed web hosting, SSL, domain connection/DNS setup, and a complete website launch — for the first year. Premium domains and non-.com domain extensions are quoted separately. From the second year, continued domain and hosting requires an Annual Renewal (see the Annual Renewal section on this site).

5. Custom Website scope

Custom Website pricing starts from RM1,500 and depends on the confirmed scope — page count, content readiness, required functionality, language requirements and timeline. The final price and delivery schedule are set out in the accepted quotation for your project, not fixed by the starting price shown on this site.

6. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate business information, and for owning or holding permission to use any logo, copy, images and other materials you supply to us. You are responsible for reviewing and approving content, design direction and the finished website before launch.

7. Content and approvals

We build your website based on the content, direction and approvals you provide. Delays in providing content, feedback or approvals will affect the project timeline. We are not responsible for inaccurate, misleading or unlawful content, offers or claims that you ask us to publish.

8. Revisions and change requests

The Ready-Made packages (RM500 and RM899) include one consolidated round of revisions. Custom Website revisions are set out in the accepted project quotation, not open-ended. Requests beyond what is included, or made after a project is delivered, may be treated as new scope and separately quoted.

9. Domain, hosting and third-party services

Where a package includes domain registration or hosting, this is provided through third-party registrars and hosting providers. Domain name availability cannot be guaranteed before registration is attempted. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes or service interruptions caused by third-party providers that are outside our direct control.

10. Delivery timelines

Timelines depend on the package chosen and how promptly content, feedback and approvals are provided. An estimated timeline is confirmed as part of your project quotation, not guaranteed in advance of scope being finalised.

11. Fees and payment terms

Package prices shown on this website are starting prices or defined package prices for the described scope; they do not include any deposit schedule, payment milestones, or refund and cancellation terms. Payment schedule, deposit requirements, and any project-specific payment or cancellation terms will be set out in the accepted quotation or invoice for your project.

12. Intellectual property

Upon full payment for your project, you receive the rights to use the final website delivered to you for its intended purpose. Pixelstead retains the right to reuse general design techniques, layouts and non-client-specific code developed in the course of providing services, and does not transfer ownership of any third-party assets, fonts, or licensed components used under their own separate licence terms.

13. Portfolio display

Pixelstead may display completed or concept work — including screenshots or links — as part of its own portfolio or marketing, unless you request otherwise in writing. Concept projects shown on this site are clearly labelled as concept work, not client commissions.

14. Third-party links and services

This website may link to third-party services, including WhatsApp and live demo websites. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies or availability of third-party services.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pixelstead's liability in connection with services provided is limited to the amount paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of business, revenue or data, arising from use of the website or services provided.

16. Suspension or termination

Either party may raise concerns about a project at any stage. Pixelstead reserves the right to pause or decline work where a client's instructions are unlawful, where required information or approvals are not provided within a reasonable time, or where payment terms agreed in the quotation are not met. Specific cancellation or termination terms for a project will be addressed in the accepted quotation.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised whenever these Terms are updated. Continued use of this website or engagement of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
